Aims:
This workshop is a continuation of the workshop "Hochschild and Cyclic (co-)homology and Applications to Geometry and Physics" held at the Max Planck Institute in July 2007. This year still focuses on algebraic and geometric structures related to physically motivated algebraic topology and non-commutative geometry, with particular regard to their deformation theoretic properties. We plan to have a few lecture series followed by talks in the afternoon sessions. Selected lecture notes from talks and lecture series will also appear in the proceedings of this workshop.
