About
I am a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn. My research interest is algebraic geometry; in particular questions about the geometry, cohomology, and homotopy of varieties in characteristic p and mixed characteristic. My work is inspired by the motivic and anabelian programmes.
Previously, I was a Veblen Research Instructor at Princeton University and the Institute for Advanced Study, a postdoc at Universiteit Leiden, and a postdoc at Universiteit Utrecht, as principal investigator on the NWO Veni project Stratified Weil spaces (2022–2025). I received my PhD from Columbia University, under the supervision of Aise Johan de Jong.
